Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Not that long ago Ubisoft made an announcement of a new Assassin’s Creed game called Mirage. You play the Basim, which if you played Valhalla; he’s one of the main characters who is being controlled by Loki. This game explains how Basim became a Hidden One. Originally this was supposed to be Expansion Part 2 for Valhalla. But given the direction that which Ubisoft took the game, they decided to make it a standalone. This game however will not be as big as there other open world RPGs. It’s going back to the roots of the first Assassin’s Creed game. Ubisoft also announced several other Assassin’s Creed games in the works. Those will be open world RPG.

There is one thing that is of concern about Mirage. During the announcement of the live stream, Ubisoft displayed the ESRB rating of the game to be 18+ Adult Only. At the time of the announcement, many people were confused as to why that is. Microsoft and many other store front pages claimed the game contained real gambling. However, since the discovery, Assassin’s Creed official twitter page claims those accusations to be false. They state the ESRB is still pending and that there is no real life gambling or lootboxes. Time will who is right.
